How Lead Qualification Works: What Happens Before Your Phone Rings

A consumer finds one of our service brand websites — a result of a Facebook or Instagram ad targeted to people actively looking for a local service in their area.

They fill in a short form: name, phone, suburb, and a few details about their job. They tick a consent checkbox and submit.

Here's what happens next.

Step 1: Immediate acknowledgement (under 60 seconds)

Within seconds of submitting, the consumer receives an acknowledgement from our local number. It confirms their enquiry and asks one qualifying question — the most important thing we need to know about their specific job.

For bond cleaning: "Thanks for your enquiry. To make sure we can match you with the right cleaner — is the property a house or apartment, and approximately how many bedrooms?"

The consumer replies in their own words.

Step 2: Scope confirmation

In a short qualification exchange, we confirm the suburb they need service in and their preferred timeframe. We're not running a lengthy interview — we're confirming the three things that determine whether this is a real, actionable lead: job type, location, timeline.

If the consumer doesn't reply within a reasonable window, the lead is flagged and not passed through. If the job is outside our service area, it's not passed through. If the consumer is "just browsing with no urgency," it's not passed through.

Step 3: Lead delivery (under 10 minutes from form submission)

When qualification is complete, you receive the lead via your preferred channel — name, phone number, suburb, and job details. The brief is clear and actionable. There's nothing to decode.

When you receive the lead, you can opt for direct delivery or opt-in preview — either way, the customer is expecting your call. You have context on their job before you pick up the phone.
